Gays Do the D Podcast
Started in the fall of 2018, Gays Do the D is one of the most listened to, unofficial Disney podcasts worldwide. With thousands of listeners each week and the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration on the horizon, Adam and Patrick reached out to Likewise at the end of 2020 to help develop a fresh look for their fresh content.

We provided the initial direction for how Gays Do the D could harness elements from the new logo and use them for their social posts. GDTD co-host Adam, a graphics specialist at a law firm by day, implemented our ideas to produce consistent, dynamic imagery with high engagement for every episode.
Since the podcast's inception, GDTD has sold merch through TeePublic and donated its proceeds to various causes that improve the lives and rights of members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In addition to simply putting their new logo on shirts, we wanted to flex the identity and see how closely — and legally — we could design some branded merchandise that represented beloved characters and films. Ultimately we wanted to help GDTD further give back with inclusive, fresh apparel.
Some of these shirts are still in production and some never saw the light of day.
